ANIMALS IN NEED
December 20, 2009 by dyertrust

Over time, we have established ourselves as the Call Centre for all animals in need. In this way we know what happens to the animals in our area, and can investigate the causes of animal injuries to minimise them in the future.
Oiled, sick and injured African penguins are collected from Dyer Island and transported to SANCCOB, a seabird rehabilitation facility in Cape Town, where the birds are cared for and treated before being released back into the wild.
The Dyer Island Conservation Trust, in association withDyer Island CruisesandMarine Dynamics, supply the financing, equipment, logistics, and organization needed for this animal care.
